What cute illustrations! In “A Different Kind of Safari”, Ray is out on safari with his family when he meets a pink hippo named Rosie. Ray is on a quest to find happiness and answers to some of his questions, like why he’s different than other kids. Through a beautiful and inspiring story, the author explains to kids what it means to be different and how one can be happy, even if you’re different. Wonderful.
