Tristan truly believed that was one of the reasons why they all got along so well. All of the men in the team came from at least white collar families, and while they may not have had to work a day in their lives, they chose to enter the military’s most elite team and fight for their country.

Yeah, there were one or two of the men who had the ‘money mentality’, but they were good men, honorable men who worked hard and did whatever they had to do to keep the team safe. He wouldn’t wish for any other members to be in his team.

“Where would we go? It would take a long time to find a town like that,” Michael said, bringing Tristan’s attention back to the conversation at hand and making him realize that he missed something.

“Plus, I don’t know of a town that would allow sixteen gay SEALs to descend and move in, let alone welcome them with open arms.” Linc said with a chuckle.

“There has to be somewhere,” Raf said. “I don’t want to lose my family.”

“Cedar, Colorado,” Lucian said quickly.

Tristan looked at him. “What?”

“Why Cedar, Colorado? What’s so special about that town?”

“Other than that’s where Tristan is from?” Lucian said. “We’ve all been there from time to time over the years. They know each of us as much as we know them. Tristan is well loved as we have all seen throughout our visits. They’ve all seen us descend on the town before and didn’t have a problem with it. It’s quaint, out of the way. And they don’t give a shit if a person is gay or straight. As long as you don’t cause trouble you’ll be welcomed with open arms.”

Tristan stared at Lucian for a long moment. What was he saying? While on one hand he didn’t know how the citizens of Cedar would feel about a whole SEAL team moving in, he did know that the townspeople liked his friends. He had actually been thinking of where he and Lucian would move to once they retired. Never had he ever thought that Lucian would want to move to his small home town.

Meeting Lucian’s eyes, he was held captivated by what Lucian was saying. “I’m tired of not being able to be with you. When I’m out, I’m moving to Cedar to be with you. I love you Tris.”

Tristan melted, right then and there on the spot. The big SEAL melted. It took everything in him not to reach over and kiss the man.

“So, that’s the plan? Move to Cedar, Colorado?” Thomas asked. “It shouldn’t be too hard for me to find a job as a doctor, or at least a physician’s assistant.”

The men looked at each other for a few moments, then they all nodded almost at once.

They spent the rest of the night talking and finalizing plans to start the moving process. Lucian and Tristan’s tours were up first and they would return to Cedar and scope out things like housing and business and such, with the rest of the men in the team following as soon as their tours were up within the following months.
